Chrome: Pandora is great, but it definitely has its annoyances. With the PandoraEnhancer add-on for Chrome, you can get rid of most of them, including ads and the the "are you still there" prompt that shows up after prolonged listening. The add-on also gives you desktop notifications when a song changes, lyrics to the song currently playing, and more.
Even though Pandora removed the listening cap for free users, they left in the periodic "are you still there" prompt, which can be a pain if you're listening to it in another tab and forget to look back and acknowledge it after you've been working for a few hours. PandoraEnhancer automatically acknowledges that alert for you. The add-on also scrubs the new HTML5 player free of ads, and suppresses the annoying video ads that appear whenever you interact with something on the page or skip a track.
PandoraEnhancer also pops up an alert on the desktop when the song changes, much like the previously mentioned Pandora Desktop Notification add-on. Even so, the added features make PandoraEnhancer worth a look if you're not already a Pandora One subscriber.
